Veterans Remember was an oral history project that collected and documented the memories, thoughts, and experiences of U.S. military veterans who live in Mesa County. The project began with World War II veterans, and grew to include interviews with veterans of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Pavia Justinian served as the eighth Mesa County Libraries Artist in Residence at 970West Studio. The dates of her residency were August 20 - December 3, 2018. During the residency, she kept open studio hours at 970West from 10 am to Noon on Wednesdays, allowing her to showcase her art and creative process for Mesa County residents.
